About Me
Annika Amundson, RMT
I graduated with great distinction from Medical Massage Therapy at Axiom Career College in June 2023. I have an educational background of 2300 hours in massage therapy including 300+ hours of clinical experience treating patients. I am a member in good standing with the Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan (MTAS).
I currently offer therapeutic, relaxation, and pre/postnatal treatments. I am certified in Prenatal Level 1 and have clinical experience treating new and expectant mothers. I am also accepting patients with work-related injuries (SGI/WCB). Direct billing is available to most insurance companies for your convenience.
My Approach
I am passionate about helping my patients find relief from the discomfort and dysfunction that is hindering their daily lives. My treatments are therapeutic and rehabilitative, using both evidence and outcome-based best practices. I believe in proactive rather than reactive treatments to keep you feeling your best and doing the things you love.
In addition to treating your symptoms directly, I believe in approaching treatments with whole-body, patient-centered care that addresses where your symptoms are coming from. I use anatomy to guide my treatments and strive to get as specific as I can during my time with you.
Throughout my treatments with you, I may use specific massage techniques including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, just to name a few. These different approaches to massage therapy allow me to treat different tissues in the body and accomplish specific goals which we will set before your treatment. I can't wait to meet you and look forward to being part of your wellness journey.
